Almost time to get back to work!

Hello awesome 3rd graders!
Hope you are enjoying your spring break. I know that I am! I'm sure you've noticed that I have made some changes to my blog. I will be adding more TAKS problems. I've also just added some vocabulary flash cards. They are kinda big so I had to place them at the bottom. Scroll all the way down and check them out. Choose scatter and you can play a quick and easy game.

I've also added the 4's and the 6's multiplication cards. Note: the 6's only go up to 6x10. Practice them first and then choose scatter and see if you can make them disappear in under 1 minute!

Inherited Traits

Hope you all are having fun discovering where your inherited traits come from! Posters are due this Wednesday. You will get a ticket if you turn in your posters before Wednesday!

Inherited traits come from blood relatives such as parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. For example, my daughter Bella has dimples. When she was born we were trying to figure out where she gets those dimples. Neither my husband nor myself have dimples. Not even our parents! We finally remembered that my mother's brother has dimples. They both inherited this trait from Grandpa Munoz. Bella has inherited a trait from her great-grandfather!

I can't wait to see your posters!
