Summer!

Hello Everyone,
     I hope you all are having a wonderful summer break! Soon my blog will take a different look but it will still serve the same purpose and that is to continue to communicate with parents and students. So I hope that you  continue to stop by and visit.
     I am having a great summer. We have gone camping, taken a trip to Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and Houston! Yes, we have been busy around here. Enjoy the rest of your summer and don't forget to read and practice math.

Our 3rd grade students have become good at blogging! They will love to read your words of encouragement before the STAAR tests next week. Please click at the bottom of this post where it says Comments. Then Post a Comment to your child. When you are finished, click Comment As. From the menu, select Name/URL and type your name. Click Post Comment and type in the spam word. Click Post Comment again until you see the message that reads: Your comment is awaiting approval. You are now finished!

What's going on in 3rd grade?

Group pictures will be on Tuesday 2/21. Students will wear their new PTO t-shirt. Our class color is navy blue.

We will be testing in Science and Social Studies this week.

Please ask your child if they are running low on school supplies. Many students do not have scissors or glue.

Hero Research

Our students have already selected a hero to research. All information will be sent home on Monday. Last year's cereal boxes came out great! I am looking forward to see what your child has learned about their hero.
