In social studies we have been discussing people who have impacted their communities. Tell me what you have learned about the three women that we have discussed. (Helen Keller, Jane Addams, Harriet Tubman) Describe their actions and the impact they had on communities.
Jane Addams developed the Hull House.The Hull House is a place where she had medical care,food,and furniture.
ReplyDeleteHellen Keller was blind and deaf at the age of 18 months. She had temper tantrums.Her parents dicided that Hellen needed a teacher. Hellen's teacher was Anne Sulivan.
Harriet Tubman helped her family escape from slavery.Her and her family traveled through the underground railroad.

ReplyDeleteHellen Keller was blind and deaf.Anne helped Hellen Keller with sign language. When Hellen grew up she learned more than one hundred words in sign language. When Hellen was 18 she went to collage.

ReplyDeleteHelen Keller is a blind and deaf girl who made it through college.It all started when they decided to give her a teacher. So one day they gave her private teacher who's name was Anne Sulivan. She saw that Helen's parents let her do whatever she wanted to do like take food off of peoples plates at dinner and throw tanrums. Anne taught her words by spelling them out on her hand with her finger and she was able to go to college.And she made it through college. That is the story about Helen Keller.

Hellen Keller was death,and blind.Then her parents got her a teacher to learn silangwige like water,mother,father,sister,brother,and best teacher too. Then her teacher taught her how to eat right with a spoon,forck,and napken also.

ReplyDeleteHariet Tubman is a girl who was in of slavery and had slavery parents.She did not like slavery at all.One day she decided she was going to get out of there and be free.When she got to where she wanted to go she decided she is not going to be free untill her intire family is free.So she kept on going back till everyone in her whole intire family was free.She reccued her whole family without getting caught.
